As the new season approach, we’re looking at the key beauty trends for Spring/Summer 2018 that we’ll be seeing everywhere as the warmer looms.
Whether you’re a lipstick hoarder, brow queen or manicure maven there’s a new season look for you.
Bold Eyeliner
SS18 eyeliner is inspired by geometric shapes. Gone are the classic wing and cat liner looks in favour for more graphic and bold creations. Tom Ford featured a rounded, stamp-like look on the eyes for a dramatic look. We love the creativity you can achieve with eyeliner and here at Nails & Brows we are looking forward to experimenting with liquid liners, pens, gels and pencils for the new season.

We’re huge fans of nail-art so we were extremely pleased to see a resurgence of nail-art in the SS18 shows. Bright colours were also heavily featured so why not be brave this season and add a bold polish to your next mani. Some of our favourite looks included the Jeremy Scott show where the models featured bright, almond-shaped nails that were then dipped in glitter. Marc Jacobs featured bright orange nails painted above a negative space at the cuticles.

Brows are set to remain a key story for the season and we’re loving the natural, full look which has become increasingly popular. Models at the Daks show had brushed up, feathery looking brows that were styled to look natural. The Beauty Edit Mayfair Brow Styler is a key product, use to gently brush brows upwards to create the illusion of a fuller brow and set with the Brow Setter.

For a while nude, matte lips have dominated but the big lip trend for SS18 is glossy and high-shine lips. Red is also a key lip colour so get double brownie points this season and sport a glossy red lip as seen at the SS18 Chanel show.
